This site also contains information about my work as a time management coach. I work with busy people who feel overwhelmed by all the responsibilities on their plates. During coaching, I help clients focus on what matters, become more efficient, and dial down on the stress. Find out more about time management coaching.

Three Small Things: On the Horizon

The theme for this week's Three Small Things is thinking about the far horizon instead of just the urgent, pressing here and now that clamors so loudly at times for our energy and attention. I would love to hear about how you will incorporate long-term thinking into your plans for the weekend. My own answer will be in the comments.

  • What small thing will you do this weekend to invest in your own personal growth and learning?
  • What small thing will you do this weekend that will have a positive impact on your life long-term?
  • What small thing will you NOT do this weekend because you will do something more valuable instead?

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Growth and learning: This weekend I will replace my lost library card so I can start doing more challenging reading without having to buy books.

Positive long-term impact: I will experiment with adding stretching to my morning routine, even though it's hard for me to do something that physical when I haven't been awake for long.

What I *won't* do: Spend lots of time fretting about how cluttered the living room is due to the basement remodel.
